Overview
We believe that education should extend beyond the classroom. We want our pupils to enjoy a rich and varied school life and that includes a wide choice of stimulating extra-curricular clubs and activities.
There is no charge for our Enrichment or Lunch Clubs.
After School Enrichment Programme

Spaces for these clubs are limited and will be allocated as fairly as possible across the key stage. Online application forms are sent out in terms 1, 3 and 5. Allocated places will be confirmed by email. If required, children can bring a PE kit to change into at the end of the day if their club is not on their PE day.

During the school day, we also offer additional enrichment opportunities during our break and lunch times.

In addition to these lunchtime activities, children can engage in our 'Craze of the Week!' or enjoy some quiet time in the Pod every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Breakfast club
Ark Castledown runs a Breakfast Club from 7.45am until the start of the school day. The cost for each is £2.00 which includes breakfast and a range of fun activities. The club is run by trained members of staff who supervise the children at all times.
Places at the club should be booked and paid for in advance through iPayimpact. Booking forms can be obtained here or from the school office.
After school club
Ark Castledown also runs an After School Club from 3.15pm – 5.30pm during term-time. Children are provided with a range of activities and offered a snack with water or juice. The club is run by trained members of staff who supervise the children at all times.
Places at the club should be booked in advance (although we will do all that we can to try and accommodate you at short notice in an emergency situation). Application forms can be obtained below or from the school office. Each full session costs £7.00, split sessions are £3.50.
